Slight leg rotation needed for stability resulted in a rarely used construction where interconnected planes from legs are extended reaching each other under the seat. Extremely strong and durable. We were striving for an elegant, neutral looking chair that is lightweight, sturdy and easy to produce. The initial idea was to make sub assemblies planar in order to simplify them for a high volume production. It is during final assembly process that the expert craftsmen from Klana factory step in and complete the chair. During development most of the time was spent on fine crafted details to adjust and fit interlocking parts with upholstered seat and back.
High backrest version that is usually quite hard to tune visually turned out to be beautiful as are the smaller height versions. We feel that the final result is a chair family that will work well in a variety of interior settings, domestic and contract alike.
