Dining chair family is characterised by a contrast between well known rational frame construction and free formed organic shapes of backrest and armrest. It has a well balanced and unpretentious silhouette suitable for all kinds of dining areas, domestic and contract alike. Both upholstered and webbing seat version provide exeptional comfort in a small lightweight package.
This type of chair was common in our environment when we were growing up. It was very rational in design but the backrest lacked curvature and was not comfortable at all. So we wanted to create the same type of chair but with improved comfort and more refined character. There were several attempts while experimening with form of both armrest and backrest before the curvature flow was set right for the chair to be coherent as a whole. The subtle detail of fluent tangent transition between legs and backrest creates the focus point and gives this chair soft and pleasant appereance.
